Spring Break 2013
Me & the Sphinx..in the hotel lobby As I have several papers to write for grad school, I thought this would be the perfect time to update the ol'blog! Procrastination at its finest!! I believe I left off with tales of the flu attack on my school and myself....it was a tough week. Having the flu, the end of term with the usual mountain of grading, crying students and bureaucracy.....all added up to this badger being very, very stressed out! So, even though it is quite the misnomer (as it is February and there is still much snow on the ground), Spring Break 2013 was a welcome respite from the chaos. My friend/ colleague, Deb, was about to celebrate her 25th birthday (I vaguely remember that age) and wanted to do something fabulous that involved the sun and water (she being of Australian stock), so we did like most Czechers do- we booked an all-inclusive. To Egypt!! Now, I'm not going to lie- the thought of an all-inclusive vacation that involved lo...
